IBEW 457 Members in Willimantic Send Treats to Troops in Afghanistan

Submitted by Sarah Brown on Mon, 12/19/2011 - 08:29.

We received this picture from Warren B. Rogers, President of the NU Veterans Association.  He said, "Here are just a few of the 457 many members in the Willimantic work center who collected goods and money for 15 boxes of presents and treats for our troops in Afghanistan.  There was more stuff to send than we had boxes for, so another shipment will go out after the first of the year. " He also stated, "On behalf of the NU Veterans Association, many heartfelt thanks to all for their support of our troops."

We are so proud of all our Members who take time out to help those in need. A special thank you to the Willimantic group for thinking of our Troops in Afghanistan during the holiday season!
